The third and final month has begun for the online photo contest to support the creation of the 2017 “Cats and Dogs of McCook” calendar. The Cat Pack has reported it has reached over 50 percent of their project goal. This years summer calendar project is the Cat Packs fifth official humane society calendar fundraiser and photograph submission and voting started in mid-April, and the deadline is 7 p.m., Friday, July 1. Over 64 photos have been entered in the contest to date: 42 dog photos, 16 cats, and 6 other critters.
The top dog and top cat at the end of the voting will be declared “Cover Critters” and grace the cover of the 2017 calendar. Other photo submissions will be scattered throughout the calendar months in a themed collage. Each vote costs $1, with a minimum of five votes and $5 per credit card transaction. All proceeds from the contest voting and the sale of the calendars go to benefit the McCook Humane Society shelter mission.
All photo submissions and voting (contest donations) can be uploaded to the shelter GoGo contest website at:http://www.gogophotocontest.com/thecatsandogsofmccook
