their dreams in big cities. Its mission is to market the very real benefits of a rural lifestyle, especially to people who grew up in the South Platte region and moved away after graduation. We highlight the amenities of rural communities and spotlight successful entrepreneurs, who make good livings, free of the stress of urban environments. Village PieMaker, Inc.- The Village Pie Makers was started by a lady who was great at making pies, she now makes pies that are shipped all over the world but focuses on a three state region and ships mainly to resturants and grocery stores. They plan to keep expanding thier region. About them: Here at The Village PieMaker shop we make every pie with consistent care.

Established in 1990, Heartland Cattle Company founders had the knowledge and foresight to see a tremendous opportunity to provide a much-needed service to the United State's beef industry. Now after 15 years and over 56,000 heifers developed and bred by the company, the concept is not only well-accepted, but embraced by industry leaders and producers alike!
Expansion-Ten years into the operation, the owners saw another opportunity to expand the business as well as their customer service by joining in the commercial cattle feeding industry. Beginning in the fall of 2000, Heartland Feeders LLC was off and running! The company now maintains two separate commercial feeding facilities throughout Nebraska with the latest technology, management principles, and marketing opportunities available to it's customers.
